Stew-Stras School Board Holds July Session

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members took action on some personnel matters at this week's meeting.

The Board accepted resignations from Justin Bierman as 5th and 6th grade basketball coach and from Madison Atchinson as an elementary teacher. Drevonte Hill was hired as fresh/soph basketball coach and as JV baseball coach.

Board members discussed the progress of the window replacement project in the high school section of the building, heard that camps have been completed successfully, learned that New Teacher Orientation went well, and learned that the Federal audit was finished and that there were no findings.

The Board also approved policy updates, and approved a school psychologist/social worker/special education director contract.
