Congressman Bost Votes for National Defense Authorization Act

Local Congressman Mike Bost Friday voted for the National Defense Authorization Act, legislation Bost said fully funds military priorities for the upcoming fiscal year and provides service members a 5.2% pay raise.

Bost also said the bill restricts funds from being used for abortion services, to teach Critical Race Theory, or to expand gender identity and climate change initiatives.

Bost said, "I am pleased that House conservatives took action and passed a Defense Authorization bill that fully funds the military, provides a pay raise for our troops, and puts a stop to the woke nonsense that weakens our military."
