Greyhound Bus Hits Three Parked Semis Near Highland (UPDATE)

A Greyhound bus struck three parked semis on the off ramp to the Silver Lake Rest Area near Highland just before 2am today.

Three people are reported dead and another 14 people were injured. Four of those injured were airlifted from the scene. No one in the trucks was reported injured.

Westbound travel on I-70 in that area was blocked in the first hours after the crash. As of late this morning, both westbound lanes of I-70 at the scene are open, as is the entrance to the rest area.
