Local resident Scott Ealy advises that those who attend tonight's fireworks show at the public beach on Lake Sara may be treated to a unique double feature.

Ealy, who is attending Eastern Illinois University to study Meteorolgy, said, "As folks are facing the beach and watching this evening's fireworks to their right, a FULL MOON will begin its rise, across the lake and to their left, at approximately 9:17 p.m. Tonight's forecast calls for mostly clear skies. 9:00 PM temperatures at the beach should be in the upper 70s with a very light breeze. Nearly perfect conditions for tonight's very special moon-enhanced fireworks event!"

A reminder that Beach Road will be closed to traffic at 9pm. Also, you can enjoy patriotic music to enhance your viewing pleasure tonight and Tuesday night at 9:00 on 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3.
