Findlay Man Sentenced to Prison for Child Pornography

A Findlay man has been sentenced in Shelby County to four years in prison for possession of child pornography.

56-year-old Donald Plunkett had faced more than 20 counts of possession of child pornography, but the other counts were dismissed in exchange for the guilty plea to one count.

Plunkett was also sentenced to 180 days in Shelby County Jail, and was given credit for 128 days served in jail awaiting disposition of his case.

Plunkett was charged in January.

The case was investigated by the Illinois State Police Zone 5 Investigations and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
