Stew-Stras Board Moves Ahead w/Track Project

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members voted to proceed with a reconstruction of their track.

Effingham Asphalt will do the track asphalt replacement for $256,073. HSC will do track surfacing and striping for $109,703. 

Board members discussed the hiring and sharing of a School Resource Officer, considered an amended budget for the current fiscal year, and heard from the Building and Grounds Committee on summer maintenance. 

The Board hired Katrina Davis as JV girls basketball coach, extended Penny Hill's contract as Dean of Students, hired Madison Atchison as a grade school teacher, and accepted Lisa Harris' resignation as Loyalty Club sponsor.
