Six-Year Prison Term for Drugs for Local Man

Effingham resident Robert J. Wesselman is beginning a six-year prison sentence for possession of methamphetamine. 

The 46-year-old Wesselman was arrested early in 2022. He was placed in specialty court, but that placement was terminated earlier this month

Wesselman was given credit for 93 days served while awaiting disposition of his case. He was also fined.
