Park Board Begins New Term

The Effingham Park Board held their first meeting since the April election this week.

The Board seated newly-elected member Matt Dasenbrock. Dasenbrock succeeds Jason Semple, who did not seek re-election.

Board members re-elected Russ Sehy as Park Board President and Mike Cunningham as Vice-President. Sehy was also elected to a new term in April.

The Board also voted to move up the start time of their meetings, which take place on the first Wednesday each month. Meetings will now start at 5:30pm at the Park District offices in the Ron Diehl Center at Hendelmeyer Park.
