Applications Being Taken for Vacancy in County Board District C

The Effingham County Republican Central Committee has set up a procedure to select a candidate to fill the Effingham County Board seat from District C. Jeremy Kyle has announced his resignation from the Board in District as of April 30 due to a move outside the district.

Interested Republicans from District C who wish to apply for the position need to submit references and a brief letter explaining why they should be chosen to fill the vacancy.

Send your application to the Effingham County Republican Central Committee, attention Jose Durbin, County Board District C vacancy, PO Box 62, Effingham, IL 62401. Only those applications postmarked by April 28th will be considered. 

Depending on the number of applications, the Committee might have to pre-qualify some candidates. Interviews will be conducted during the week of May 1. The selected candidate will be passed along to the Effingham County Board as the Committee's recommendation for the position.
