Mattoon Woman Arrested After Striking Pregnant Woman

Police arrested a Mattoon woman early Wednesday morning, after allegedly striking a pregnant woman.

Arrested in the incident is Samantha R. Clark, 31 of Mattoon. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of Marshall Avenue in Mattoon. Clark was charged with Aggravated Battery, for allegedly hitting another woman who is pregnant.

Clark was taken to the Coles County Jail. Further details have not been released from the Mattoon Police Department.
