Brownstown Board Acts on Series of Personnel Matters

Brownstown school board members this week acted on a host of coaching assignments for next school year.

Those hired:

Ryan Beccue--high school baseball head coach

Brady Philpot--high school baseball assistant coach

Aaron Miller--junior high baseball head coach

Dana Pasley--junior high girls basketball head coach

Randy Sasse--junior high girls basketball assistant coach

Tim Pasley--high school girls basketball head coach

Dana Pasley--high school girls basketball assistant coach

Chad Towler--high school girls basketball assistant coach

Jessica Sefton--5th/6th grade basketball head coach

Dustin Sefton--5th/6th grade basketball assistant coach

Robin Miller--junior high scholar bowl coach

Michele Seabaugh--junior high boys track coach

Mike Sasse--high school girls track coach

Brian Ward--high school boys track coach

Cassie Perrin--FFA Advisor

Paul Kistler--bass fishing head coach

Owen Karnes--bass fishing assistant coach

Cooks--Alyssa Kruenegel, Nikki Sidwell, Bayle Ring, Kaci Satterthwaite

Secretaries--Brittany Rigdon and Shelly Thomason

Teacher Aides--Sandra Albright, Stacy Sidwell, Stephanie Montgomery, Deirdre Murray, Amber Brungard, Kara LeMar and Cindy Hunter

Bus Drivers--David Portz, Richard Cade, Michelle Dial and Michelle Baker

Nurse--Stacey Summers

District Transportation Secretary--Deb Hunter

These certified personnel were employed for the coming school year:

Non-tenured teachers--Ashley Abrahamson, Shawna Bloemer, Carla Dasenbrock, Lori Otto, Faith Stallard, Leanne Tumpach, Nicholas Tkachuk, Emily Ledbetter, Robin Miller, Katie Richter (tenure status), Kelsey Newcomb (tenure status), Cassie Perrin (tenure status), and Brittany Coomer

The Board also hired Brooke Boehme and Bailey Lowes as elementary teachers for the 2023/2024 school year.

The Brownstown board also renewed membership in the IHSA for next school year, renewed an agreement with the SEPCO purchasing coop for next school year, agreed to offer Speech as a dual credit course for next school year, and approved the final calendar for the current school year.
