-- The South Central CUSD #401 is having a special board of education meeting today at 5:30 p.m. to discuss athletic cuts.

-- Stewardson-Strasburg Community Unit School District 5A is having a special communications committee meeting tonight at 7 in the Media Center to discuss current district communications process and to discuss goals for improving district communications.

-- Effingham Park District will meet at 6:30 p.m today at the Ron Diehl Center. They will be discussing the prevailing wage ordinance plus director's reports.

-- There is a special City Council meeting tonight at 6:30 in the Effingham City Council chambers.
