Effingham Man Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash

An Effingham man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Bishop Township early Saturday morning.

The crash happened at 1:20am on the Teutopolis/Elliotstown Road near 875th Road. 

Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports a pickup truck driven by 35-year-old Samuel Wilson was traveling southbound when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and then rolled over at least once. 

Wilson was taken by Rural Med EMS to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Wilson was cited by deputies for driving while his license is revoked, failure to reduce speed, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
