Write-In Candidates for April Election in Altamont, Mason

Candidates in two Effingham County communities have filed as write-ins in the April 4th election.

The individuals' names will not appear on the ballot, so those voting for them will need to fill in the oval beside a write-in spot on the ballot, and then write in the name of the candidate.

There are write-in candidates in both Altamont and Mason.

The two write-in candidates in Altamont are Jason Rippetoe and Terry White. Both are running for city commissioner. Rippetoe is currently serving as mayor of Altamont, but did not seek re-election to that office.

In Mason, there is a two-year unexpired term for Town Board President. James Noland is the write-in candidate for that office. There are three candidates for Mason Town Board Trustee. They are Lisa O'Leary, Taylor Flowers and Bruce Sowers.
