Wilhour, Niemerg Announce Committee Assignments

Two local state representatives have announced their committee assignments in the new General Assembly session.

110th District St. Rep. Blaine Wilhour of Beecher City will serve as House Republican Spokesman and Ranking Member on the Illinois House Elementary and Secondary Education Appropriations Committee, and the House Elementary and Secondary Education School Curriculum and Policies Committee.

Wilhour's other committee assignment is to serve as GOP spokesman on the House Small Business, Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee.

Wilhour also received appointments to the House's Energy and Environment, Labor and Commerce, and Personnel and Pensions Committees. 

102nd District St. Rep. Adam Niemerg of Dieterich will serve as a permanent member of the Illinois House Appropriations General Services, Consumer Protection, Elementary and Secondary Education School Curriculum and Policy, Insurance, Restorative Justice, and Labor and Commerce Committees.
