Several Inches of Snow Expected Wednesday

The National Weather Service office in Lincoln is calling for several inches of snow for the Effingham area Wednesday morning.

The latest information is that the snow will begin after midnight Wednesday and could fall at one-half inch to one inch per hour until noon. The Weather Service's Ed Shimon said it will be heavy wet snow. 

Shimon said there is a 50% chance that we will receive six or more inches of snow Wednesday morning.
