EHS Competitive Cheer Squad Earns Top Honors at State

The ICCA State Championships were held Saturday at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield.

Effingham High School's Competitive Cheer Team placed first in Large Varsity Game Day division, and placed fifth in Medium Varsity Routine.

Individually, Gabbi Kreke was named to the All-State Cheer Team. Gabbi was the first place/top ICCA scholarship recipient out of 10 cheerleaders chosen by skills, academics and interview from the entire state.
