Stew-Stras Board Gets Electric Bus Through Grant

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members Wednesday approved the fee chart for next school year, and discussed possible foreign language offerings for next school year.

The Board heard from Superintendent Justin Deters that the district received a clean energy grant for a new electric bus and a charging station, and also heard from Deters that the district received an ECF grant to purchase 91 new Chromebooks.

High school principal Cody McCollum shared that Bass Fishing is now a Co-op Hatchet sport, and that the district had an excellent showing at the local FBLA conference.

The Stew-Stras board accepted the resignation of Sara VohBehrens as assistant junior high girls basketball coach.
