Prison Sentences for Two Individuals in Clay County

Two area residents have received prison sentences from drug offenses in Clay County.

48-year-old Dale McKinney of Farina has been sentenced to four years in prison for unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. The sentence stemmed from an arrest in February.

48-year-old Dawn Logan of Kinmundy has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. Logan was arrested in August of 2020 and pled guilty in October of this year.

Clay County State's Attorney Phillip Givens said, "I want to thank the Illinois State Police for their hard work in our mutual goal of stopping drug dealing in Clay County."
