City Police Report on accidents within Effingham

At 4:41 PM on Monday Novermber 7th at the intersection of West National and South Outer Belt West a vehicle driven by Garrett W. Jewell, 31 of Sigel, struck a vehicle driven by Darian R. McElroy, 21 of Altamont. 

Jewell sustained injuries and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital by Rural Med EMS. 

Jewell was ticketed for Failure to Yield Turning Left and Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

On Wednesday, November 9th at 5:28 PM at the intersection of West Temple and North Mulberry a vehicle driven by Cassie M. Fletcher, 22 of Montrose, struck a vehicle driven by Kristal D. Ellison, 49 of Newton. 

Fletcher was ticketed for Failure to Yield Turning Left.

No injuries were reported.
