First Flag-Raising at The Cross

     The Cross Foundation will dedicate the newest addition to the Cross campus on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11^th, at 9:30 am. 

     Through the generous contribution of Tom and Linda Wright of Dieterich, the Cross Foundation has erected a flag pole between the Cross structure and the interstate.  The flag will be easily visible to interstate travelers with the Cross as the backdrop.    

     The event will include the first flag-raising, conducted by Marine Veteran, Corporal Andy Isley. 

     The Effingham American Legion has agreed to serve as “guardians of the flag”, as they will provide new flags to ensure the appropriate presentation of our nations colors. 

     The Cross Foundation thanked Tom and Linda Wright, The Effingham American Legion, and Ruth Webb who coordinated the flag donation.
