Statewide, the average temperature was 57.9 degrees, 9.8 degrees above normal. Precipitation averaged 1.13 inches, 0.18 inches above normal.

Topsoil moisture supply was rated 10 percent very short, 12 percent short, 76 percent adequate, and 2 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 14 percent very short, 24 percent short, 61 percent adequate, and 1 percent surplus.

Corn harvested for grain reached 88 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 85 percent.

Soybeans harvested reached 94 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 89 percent.
