Heavy rainfall was avoided and the Effingham Halloween Parade for 2022 went off without a hitch. The parade is sponsored annually by the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club.

The parade theme was "80s and 90s Cartoon Characters".

US Air Force veteran and local surgeon Ruben Boyajian served as Parade Marshal. The local Rotary clubs are sponsoring a free concert by the US Air Force Band at the Effingham Performance Center on Thursday, November 10.
