The names have been released of those killed Monday morning in the crash of a van in Fayette County.

Five men were killed in the crash.  All are from Baltimore, Maryland; 54-year-old Emerson Baldwin, 53-year-old Andrew Canada, 42-year-old Antonie Mitchell, 52-year-old Mark William and 29-year-old Thomas Coleman.

Fayette County Coroner Bruce Bowen pronounced the five men dead at the scene at 10:11am Monday, about a half-hour after the crash.

The van was carrying the men and five other passengers from a meeting in Ontario, California to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The unit ran off I-70 Eastbound, west of Vandalia and rolled down an embankment, ejecting nine of the occupants from the van.

Illinois State Police and the Fayette County Coroner's Office are continuing their investigation in an effort to determine the reason for the crash.
