Red Regiment Fares Well at Monticello

The EHS Marching Hearts Red Regiment marching band performed their show "Nevermore" at the Monticello Sage City Invitational Saturday, competing with 15 other bands from across the region.

The Red Regiment took home Best Drum Majors and Best Percussion in Class 2A. They also had the highest percussion score out of all 16 schools and took home Percussion Grand Champion.

The Red Regiment will perform again this Saturday at the Panther Marching Band Festival at EIU in Charleston.

The Effingham Red Regiment will also host its annual Effingham Marching Hearts Invitational on Saturday, October 8, at Klosterman Field at Washington Savings Bank Stadium. They will host 26 bands from across the area with performances beginning at noon and Effingham concluding the day with their performance at 8:15 pm.
