Meet and Greet for Congressional Candidate Chip Markel Sunday

A Meet and Greet and fundraiser for 12th District Congressional candidate Chip Markel is set for Sunday in Effingham.

The event is sponsored by the Effingham County Democratic Central Committee, and will take place from 1 to 4pm at Evergreen Hollow Park in the Brown Pavilion. There will be free food including a barbecue pork sandwich, chips, a cookie and a drink.

Bill Passalacqua and friends will provide music for the event, and other speakers are a possibility.
