Beecher City Man Fatally Injured in Early Morning Crash Saturday

A Beecher City man was fatally injured in a single-vehicle crash in Fayette County early Saturday morning.

Illlinois State Police report a vehicle was southbound on Illinois Route 128, just south of 3050th Avenue, when the right rear tire of the vehicle blew out. That caused the vehicle to leave the highway to the right, travel through a ditch and strike a field entrance.

The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Dylan Taylor, was ejected from the vehicle. Taylor was taken for treatment to an area hospital, where he died due to his injuries.

The crash was reported to authorities at 1:13am Saturday.
