Cowden-Herrick school board members voted at this month's meeting to approve a tentative budget for the coming fiscal year with final action expected in September, and also to issue $325,000 in Working Cash Fund bonds to increase the district's Working Cash Fund.

The Board accepted a resignation from Erin Hardiek; voted to amend a memorandum of understanding with the teachers' union regarding the part-time custodian position; and revised the district's Safe Return to School plan.

Board members also employed Morgan Westjohn as speech pathologist.
