Teutopolis Board Discusses Special Events Ordinance

Teutopolis village board members Wednesday discussed a possible Special Events ordinance for the village.

Village Attorney Tracy Willenborg has developed a possible ordinance that was reviewed last night. Board members decided to invite Willenborg to their meeting on August 17 to discuss the proposed ordinance further.

Also Wednesday, the board tabled action on Kingery's Re-Subdivision First Addition, a residential development in the center part of town. Typically, such a redevelopment would include the petitioner installing sewer for the development.

The Board did vote to approve a plat of Borries Subdivision, dividing one lot into two lots. It was also decided to allow golf carts on village streets until 10pm for the Garage Band Music Night.
