Mahon Recognized for 25 Years Service

Master Sergeant David Mahon was recently presented with a service pin to acknowledge 25 years of dedicated service with the Illinois State Police.
Master Sergeant Mahon started his career as a Trooper in 1988 in District 10, Pesotum. He transferred to District 12, Effingham, in 1990, where he was promoted to Sergeant in 1994. He was then promoted to Master Sergeant in 2002. He is currently an Operations Master Sergeant in charge of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Section, the Special Enforcement Team and is the District Hire-Back Coordinator.
Dave and his wife, Sherri, reside in Effingham. They have four children, Scott Mahon, Steven Mahon, Stacia Chaplin, and Myles Baker.
