Baseball Card Connection on National Stage at Card Show

Jon and Lisa Schafer, Owners of Baseball Card Connection

Baseball Card Connection of Effingham was recognized as one of the top four of America's Best Card Shops.

The downtown business owned by Jon and Lisa Schafer was a finalist along with stores in Escondido, California; Champlin, Minnesota; and Foxboro, Massachusetts. There were 1,400 stores at the start of the competition.

Lisa Schafer shared Monday afternoon that they "had a great week in Atlantic City, New Jersey." She said they were "very humbled and honored to be recognized on the National Stage as being one of the Top 4 Trading Card Stores in the country."

Lisa wrote, "The entire experience has been great for our business and has brought a lot of publicity to our hometown of Effingham."
