A Teutopolis resident has been arrested in Shelby County on felony charges.

Shelby County State's Attorney Nichole Kroncke said 21-year-old Bryce A. Ruholl was also arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, also a Class 3 Felony, and two counts of aggravated DUI, Class 4 Felonies.

The charges allege that Ruholl fled from Cowden Police Chief Blake Hadley at a speed greater than 21MPH over the speed limit while under the influence of alcohol, and that he possessed meth in the vehicle.

Bond for Ruholl was set at $150,000.

Class 3 Felonies are punishable by up to two to five years in prison, while Class 4 Felonies are punishable by up to one to three years in prison.

Ruholl will appear in court on August 15 for a preliminary hearing.
