The Effingham Performance Center announces its schedule for Season 13, sponsored by Heartland Dental, with shows including a variety of national, regional and local acts.

The new season is packed full of your favorite artists including: Tommy James & The Shondells, Eli Young Band, John Michael Montgomery, 38 Special, The Guess Who, Price Is Right Live, Menopause the Musical, Larry Gatlin, Glenn Miller Orchestra, and many more.

“The new season is here, and we are excited to welcome the community to the theater,” said Kim Jansen, executive director at The EPC.

The new season lineup features over 30 shows, including national touring shows and regional artists.

“Our schedule has a variety of live entertainment, so there truly is a show for everyone,” said Jansen. “The newly announced Season 13 shows include country, rock, oldies, family, live theater, and more.”

New to this year’s schedule are two regional events. The EPC Songwriters Showcase on October 1, which will feature songwriters who write and perform their own music, and EPC IDOL, which is a karaoke contest where finalists will compete on stage for a chance to win $1,000.

“We love seeing our community members take the stage, so we have added regional shows to our lineup,” said Jansen.

The Box Office will open for public sales at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, followed by online sales opening at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20 at www.ticketmaster.com/epc. Discounted packages, including Season Ticket Holder packages, will be available through September 30 and must be purchased through the Box Office.

When patrons purchase three to five shows, they will save 10 percent, and for those who purchase six or more shows, they will receive a discount of 15 percent. Season ticket holders also receive several perks including free ticket exchange, presale opportunities for all added shows, and a special presale period for next season’s shows before sales are open to the public.

“We appreciate the support the theater has received and continues to receive from the community. We look forward to sharing a season that is sure to be the talk of the town,” said Jansen.
