Vandalism Done to Buses Parked at Effingham Junior High School Over the Weekend

Damage was done to some school buses parked east of Effingham Junior High School over the weekend.

Effingham city police have been investigating the incident. Reportedly, two juveniles have been questioned about the matter, but charges are yet to be filed.

The juveniles have indicated they climbed over the fencing surrounding the area where the buses are parked. They got inside the buses and vandalized the seats besides doing other damage. 

Effingham City Police Chief Jason McFarland indicated the damage done is going to exceed $10,000.
