Federal, State, Local Authorities at Local Facility Wednesday

Federal, State and local authorities were in Effingham at a local sleep center most of the day Wednesday reviewing files at the facility.

Effingham City Police Detective Tony Stephens Wednesday referred any questions to Federal authorities in St. Louis so we'll try to find out more today as to the reason for the visit.

Stephens confirmed that officers from the US Drug Enforcement Administration, FBI and US Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General's Office were a part of the investigation, as well as Illinois State Police and the Effingham City Police Department.
