The office of Congresswoman Mary Miller announced that they will be hosting their first Veteran Pinning Ceremony in Danville on April 20.

"I am thankful for all the men and women in the armed forces who protect our country, our freedom, and our way of life," Miller said. "As your congresswoman, I am always on the lookout for ways to honor our service members and recognize the sacrifices that our veterans have made for our country."

Vietnam and Vietnam-era veterans will be honored with a pin, and all veterans in attendance will receive a certificate recognizing their service. Anyone that wishes to attend should RSVP at least three days before the event. Please provide your rank, service branch, years served, and confirmation for the correct spelling of your name. Please also provide an estimate of the number of guests who will be joining you at the event.

You can direct questions and confirm your participation by emailing or calling Congresswoman Miller's Deputy District Director Sallie Nyhan at Sallie.Nyhan@mail.house.gov or (217) 500-7834.
