Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Clark County

A pedestrian was fatally injured when struck by a vehicle in Clark County.
The person who was killed is being identified by State Police as a 49-year-old female from Indiana.
The incident occurred at 8:17pm Tuesday. A SUV driven by 28-year-old Megan Bennett of Marshall was traveling on North Cline Orchard Road near Martinsville when the vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was walking in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Bennett was not injured.
The name of the person fatally injured has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
