Unit 40 Makes Personnel Moves

At the Regular Board Meeting of the Effingham Community Unit 40 School District held monday evening the following personnel movements were made. 

Nicole Wright was employed as a 12 month secretary and Marielle Abalos was hired as an Art Teacher at Effingham High School for the 2022-23 school year.

Kadi Borries was appointed as the Head Softball Coach at Effingham Junior High School for 2022-2023.

Megan Adkins was transferred to the postition of 8th grade Girls Basketball Coach and Lacy Althoff was transferred to the position of F/S Girls Basketball Coach.

Todd Thoele, Lauren Pals, Jessica Clayton, and Mary Walters were all granted Family Medical Leave Acts, while Joyce Anderson, Dave Parker, and Courtney Mathews were each granted a Leave of Absence.

Resignations were accepted from Teacher Jessica Wohlschlaeger, Paraprofessional Julie Hodges, Student Services Secretary Jodi Waymoth, and Bryan Seidel form the Maintenance Department.

The Board also recognized the retirement of Teacher Carmen Huelsbusch at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, Teachers Mary Walters and Sandy Lohman following the 2024-2025 school year, and Activities Director David Woltman effective June 30, 2024.
