Tickets Go On Sale Friday Morning for 2022 Illinois State Fair

Excitement is building for the 2022 Illinois State Fair. Tickets for the highly anticipated Illinois Lottery Grandstand concert series go on sale Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. on the Ticketmaster website. Seven concerts have been announced with a lineup that features everything from country legends and historic rockers.

“With this concert lineup, the 2022 Illinois State Fair is shaping up to be the experience of the summer,” said Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark. “The Illinois State Fair is known for bringing in big name talent at an affordable ticket price and this year is no different. The time to start planning your summer concert adventure starts today.”

This year, the Illinois State Fair is excited to welcome Sam Hunt, Demi Lovato, Brooks & Dunn, TLC, Shaggy, Jon Pardi, Lainey Wilson, Chapel Hart, Disturbed, Nita Strauss and Sammy Hagar and The Circle to the Illinois Lottery Grandstand stage.  Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ticket sales for all announced shows will be available at ticketmaster.com.  Fairgoers are reminded that Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket broker for the Illinois State Fair.  All other websites and offers may be fraudulent and buyers should beware.

*A $30 Stage Side Party ticket is offered as an additional upgrade for all paid concerts.  All Stage Side Party tickets purchased before July 15 will include a free state fair parking pass for the day of the concert.

This year the Illinois State Fair will also feature a free concert in the Grandstand on Monday, August 15th. The legendary rock group, The Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik, will be the featured entertainment on Senior Night. The Ides of March originated in Berwyn and to this day still includes all its original band members, including Jim Peterik on lead vocals. Peterik is a former member of the band Survivor and has penned songs for Sammy Hagar, The Beach Boys and 38 Special. 

This is also a time to purchase Mega and Jumbo passes, admission bargain books and seasonal infield parking passes. All items are available for purchase online. Discounted Mega Passes are available for $70 and a Jumbo Pass, which includes the Giant Slide for $80 through July 31st. Beginning August 1, the price will increase $20 on both passes.

Admission Bargain Books and Seasonal Infield Parking Passes are also available for purchase online. For $45, the Admission Bargain Book provides eleven any-day admissions to the 2021 Illinois State Fair. The Seasonal Infield Parking Pass is only $40. This allows you to park on the infield all eleven days of the fair.
