Miller Sworn In as Jasper County Resident Circuit Judge

Chad Miller was to be sworn in as Jasper County Resident Circuit Judge Friday afternoon.

The ceremony was scheduled for 3:30pm at the Jasper County Courthouse in Newton.

Miller was being sworn in to succeed Daniel Hartigan, who has retired from the bench. Hartigan also went from the State's Attorney's office to judicial office.

A reception for Miller was scheduled following the ceremony at the West End Event Center in Newton.
