Three Units Involved in Crash Outside Effingham

Three vehicles were involved in a crash outside Effingham Thursday evening.

The crash occurred at 6:10pm on I-57/70 just north of the Fayette Avenue interchange.

State police say a a car driven by 22-year-old Jordan Bopp of Greenwood, Indiana collided with a semi driven by 56-year-old Stephen Range of Springfield, Missouri and then a pickup truck driven by 31-year-old Jonathan Gale of Breese struck the semi.

Bopp was injured and was taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.  Bopp was also cited for driving too fast for conditions.
