No One Injured When Charleston School Bus Overturned

No one was injured Thursday morning when a Charleston school district bus slid off a roadway and overturned.

Coles County Sheriff's Department said the incident occurred right at 7am on Decker Springs Road at Coles County Road 1450 North. The bus driven by Patricia St. Clair was traveling north and slid on the icy roadway into the ditch and overturned into a field.

There were two students on the bus at the time of the incident.

No citations were issued. Charleston Fire Department assisted sheriff's deputies at the scene.
