What is called "The People's Convoy" is scheduled to make a nationwide semi-truck journey from California to Washington, DC, and the route is to travel through Effingham.

The convoy is to begin staging tomorrow at Adelanto Stadium in Adelanto, California, then head on Wednesday through Las Vegas and down to Kingman, Arizona. The journey is to continue east on Interstate 40 to Lupton, Arizona on Thursday and then to Glenrio, Texas on Friday.

The last word was that the convoy is to travel through Effingham on Tuesday, March 1. A recent memo indicates that complete details regarding stopping points will be released en route. The information also indicates that routes and times are subject to change. The current plan is to arrive in the Washington, DC area on March 5, but by agreement with DC authorities will not be going into Washington.

Information from the People's Convoy is that the group is "asking for accountability in the form of bipartisan Congressional hearings regarding the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, end the State of Emergency and all mandates, and restoration of freedom and liberty as we stand in solidarity with our fellow Americans and in support of other countries across the world."

The Convoy intends to use the driving lane so as to allow other vehicles to use the passing lane to continue on their way.

Organizations intending to travel in the convoy include Robert Kennedy Jr.'s Children's Health Defense TV, doctors and colleagues from the COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, The America Project, The Unity Project, Freedom Fighter Nation, pilots from the Freedom Flyers, and faith leaders, assisted by retired military personnel and security experts.

The Convoy spokespeople say the goal is to "ensure a safe, 100% lawful, peaceful journey that works with local jurisdictions through which the convoy will pass to carry their message of freedom across this great country."
