Fall Archery Turkey Harvest Totals 683

Hunters in Illinois harvested a statewide total of 683 wild turkeys during the 2021-2022 fall archery turkey season.

The harvest compares to 783 turkeys taken the previous year, and a five-year average of 688 birds harvested.

There were eight turkeys taken in Effingham County, down from 11 the prevoius season.

Clay--12, down from 16

Cumberland--3, the same as the previous year

Fayette--11, up from 9 the year prior

Jasper--7, down from 8 a year earlier

Shelby--5 down from 10 the previous season
