St. Louis Man Injured in Crash Near Mulberry Grove

A St. Louis man was injured in a crash on I-70 in Fayette County just after midnight Saturday morning.

State Police report a SUV driven by 29-year-old Christopher Body was traveling eastbound just east of Mulberry Grove when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck the end of a guardrail. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment before coming to rest.

Boyd was transported to an area hospital for treatment of what were termed non life threatening injuries.

Boyd was cited for DUI, driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
