Library Adjusting Hours of Operation w/New Year

The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library will open with revamped hours in the New Year.

Beginning January 3, 2022, here are the library's hours of operation:

Mondays 8am to 7pm

Tuesdays 8am to 7pm

Wednesdays 8am to 7pm

Thursdays 8am to 7pm

Fridays 8am to 6pm

Saturdays 9am to 1pm

The library has been studying the usage of the facility and is adjusting the hours of operation accordingly. Library Director Amanda McKay said the changes in open hours could allow the library to make more employees available during hours of heavier usage.
