The Cowden-Herrick school district has had a lot of success in track and field through the years. The Cowden-Herrick school board approved purchases at this month's meeting to enhance that program.

The Board voted to purchase high jump pits as well as a pole vault pit to benefit the program.

Cowden-Herrick board members also approved allowing non-resident employees' children to attend school in the district at less than 110% per capita tuition. The Board also passed the tax levy for the coming fiscal year.

Board members approved the purchase of six smart interactive display boards, accepted the resignation of Brittany Congenie as a bus aide and hired Samantha Shouse to fill that position, and approved an unpaid leave for Laura Endsley.
