One Person Injured in Friday Morning Crash at Keller and Temple

One person was injured when vehicles collided at Keller Drive and Temple Avenue. 

The crash happened at 11:14 Friday morning. Effingham city police report a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Kayla Tego of Effingham pulled into the path of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Joann Niemeyer of Teutopolis. 

Tego was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. 

Tego was cited for failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
