Niemerg Speaks to Retired Teachers on World Teachers Day

State Rep. Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) spoke to the Wayne County Retired Teachers Association Tuesday, which was “World Teachers’ Day.”

October 5th is the date set aside annually since 1994 to celebrate all teachers around the world.

Niemerg said, “Not just today, but every day we need to be thankful for all of the great teachers who dedicate their lives to the education of our children. Many of our retired teachers actually use their experience to serve as some of our best substitute teachers when our schools need them. I say thank you to all of our teachers in Wayne County and around the state.”
