It might be hard to imagine, but the Cross at the Crossroads has been in Effingham for 20 years.

A celebration to mark the 20-year milestone will take place this Sunday on the Cross grounds. Activities will begin at 3pm. Rev. Roger Marshall, retired pastor of First Baptist Church in Effingham and a Cross board member, will lead in prayer and will share the History of the Cross. That will be followed by a live concert until 5pm, featuring Jordan Pride and Scott Wattles.

There will be DQ Dilly Bars and EJ Water available for free, and there will be food available for purchase from local food trucks. Additionally, Pyramid Marble and Granite is making available a vanity countertop with a value of up to $1,000. There will be one entry per $10 donation, and no limit on entries. All of the proceeds will go to the Family Life Center of Effingham.
